The premise of the story is interesting. Unfortunately, the writing is truly awful, rendering it unreadable. I soldiered through 15% of the book, trying my best to ignore some of the worst writing I’ve seen in a long time before finally giving up. If I’d been marking up a print copy with a red pen, it would’ve looked like a murder took place on top of the manuscript. The problems go far beyond the numerous grammar, punctuation and spelling errors, and style inconsistencies. I’d go into detail, but I’m not getting paid to review the book, much less edit it.
This book needs major editing. Unless and until it gets it, it’s not worth spending your time or money on it.
